Darwish Interserve Facility Management continued its efforts to spread the message of environmental protection and sustainable development by joining hands with Qatar’s Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) and Al Wakra Municipality to host a ‘Beach Cleaning Activity’ at Al Wakra Family Beach on January 3, 2020.

This social commitment initiative aimed to create better community awareness about the need to protect and preserve the natural environment and keep the marine habitat safe and trash-free.

The Beach Cleaning Activity was led by Darwish Interserve’s Management and volunteer staff members who actively picked up litter and trash collected along the shoreline.

Mr. Mohamed Saadeh, General Manager of DIFM said in a statement, “Darwish Interserve’ Beach Cleaning Activity is our commitment to protect the environment aside from our practices throughout all of our operations. This is one of many program we have to bring awareness and reflections about how we can make small changes towards a meaningful positive change for all of us who share this planet and for future generations.”
