Job Description

Supervises and coordinates the technicians to ensure that they provide high quality of engineering and maintenance services to existing projects.
Experience: Minimum 3 years’ related experience in building technical maintenance, supervisory position.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the daily activities of the technical team.
  • Ensures optimal usage of manpower and resources.
  • Oversees and carries out maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Responds to all reactive maintenance within the specified service level agreements and operational policies.
  • Ensures that Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with the schedule, frequency and task lists and provides reports on any works required thereafter.
  • Responds in a prompt and efficient manner to all reactive issues and help desk requests.
  • Carries out site inspection on a random basis to monitor the benchmark of work and schedule.
  • Coordinates with other teams and ensures satisfactory completion of work.
  • Submits weekly accurate timesheets for the operational staff.
  • Carries out routine inspections for the jobs accomplished by Technicians and Service Partners.
  • Ensures that both the quality and the quantity of the jobs are in line with Service Level Agreements/KPIs.
  • Promotes a safe work environment and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Receives and complete work orders to include; records concerning time, labour and materials for each task.
  • Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for to resolve the emergency requirements.
  • Requires flexibility and understanding that all maintenance staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to meet the mission and goals of the Facility Services

Qualifications & Experience

Job Description

Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
Responsibilities:

  • To advise, support and give guidance on Occupational and FM related health and safety matters to the senior management team, project managers.
  • To interpret the legislative duties and requirements relevant to FMS and to provide guidance on pragmatic and cost-effective management systems to ensure risk reduction and risk control to the level required by law.
  • To work alongside the FM services Manager in implementing an H&S policy and management systems, and to provide and deliver management reports and information.
  • Plan and coordinate specialist and routine cyclical safety training as part of general training needs analysis for the service.
  • Identify health and safety risks within the remit of FMS and recommend management solutions.
  • Provide generic and specialist risk assessments as appropriate and assist managers in this process of risk control.
  • Undertake specific projects related to Health & Safety, under the direction of the FM Services Manager.
  • To create and write an environmental policy and ensure that all services being provided by the FM team meet all QA and Health Standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Job Description

A facilities manager duties generally entail maintaining the buildings and grounds of the project, overseeing the upkeep of equipment and supplies, determining and scheduling repairs or renovation projects, and coordinating safety inspections.
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity. Knowledge of CAFM software is desirable.
Responsibilities:

  • Managing the FM contracts with 100% client satisfaction and reporting to OM/GM on the updates of projects. Responsible for the P&L target achievement, financial reporting as well as the collection.
  • Supervising multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, grounds and security.
  • Ensuring that basic facilities, such as water and heating, are well-maintained.
  • Managing budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
  • Overseeing building projects, renovations or refurbishments.
  • Drafting reports and making written recommendations.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems.
  • Able to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical and automation systems.
  • Execute equipment audits and record-taking policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols.
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity. Knowledge of CAFM software is desirable.

Graduate in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Services Management, Hospitality or related field of study. Professional Membership / Certification from BIFM, IFMA will be a definite advantage.

Job Description

Fire Life Safety Manager’s main mission is to protect life and property. This means planning, developing, implementing and monitoring a fire safety plan that addresses specific fire and life safety systems. To do this properly, the FLS Manager must know current fire safety code for properties, buildings and other structures, he is also in charge of training and supervising personnel needed to carry out the overall mission and each element of a fire safety plan.
Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing project FLS issues in FM projects.
Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Engineering/Procurement/maintenance/ FLS requirements (Contractor’s scope) of the project.
  • Review and assess contractor’s FLS production for Qatar Civil Defense Department (QCDD) submissions.
  • Organization and conduction of regular meetings/tracking completion of agreed actions with clients and stakeholders for the FLS subjects.
  • Review and assess FLS procedures provided by the clients and revise it as and when necessary.
  • Ensuring that facilities meet government regulations and environmental, health and security standards.
  • Identify potential issues related to FLS that may result in variation orders.
  • To be able to conduct inspections and ensure that the external contractor is coordinating and conducting inspections to check the installation related to FLS equipment.
  • To be a part of the QCDD approval process and co-ordinate the submissions reply.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in managing project FLS issues in FM projects. University degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of project delivery processes and techniques, a good understanding of engineering and construction activities sequencing. Strong experience in managing project safety in FM projects based on standards (50126, 50128, 50129) and or British Standards (BS). Experience in working in a multicultural environment involving various vendors and contractors.
